BSO: Burglars steal 10 TVs from Pompano Beach businesses

Up to $3000 reward to anyone with information that leads to arrest

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Investigators are looking for the burglars who stole ten flat screen TVs from two businesses.

Two thieves smashed the front door of the Excel Barber Shop at 1941 N. Dixie Highway on Nov. 25, according to police. They stole two flat screen televisions and damaged the store. At 8:46 p.m., a surveillance camera caught them ripping the TVs off the walls and smashing the shop's large wall mirrors.

Three days later, three thieves — believed to be the same ones — went to Bru's Room, a restaurant only three and a half miles away from the barber shop. The trio stole eight flat screen TVs from the restaurant at 235 S. Federal Highway, according to police.

At 4:20 a.m., the restaurant's surveillance camera captured a light-colored pick-up truck driving on the side of the restaurant's patio bar. Detectives said that the vehicle may have been to used to carry out the crime.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. Up to $3,000 will be rewarded to anyone with information that leads to an arrest.
