PARKLAND, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff's Office is looking for a 42-year-old Rosann DiFiore, who was last seen on July 24.
DiFiore's husband, Neil Rosen, told investigators that she went to bed about 11 p.m. Wednesday, and when he woke up the next morning, she was gone.
"It wasn't until about 9:30 Thursday morning when he received that text from his wife he says that indicated she was going to harm herself," said Mike Jachles with the Broward Sheriff's Office.
DiFiore, who works as a paralegal, hasn't shown up for work since. Investigators didn't say if her credit cards or cell phone had been used.
DiFiore married Rosen in 1998, according to court records. He was unavailable for comment Monday.
In 1992, Rosen made headlines when he was accused of killing Michelle Davis, his then-girlfriend. Jurors acquitted him of first-degree murder.
Investigators said Rosen isn't a suspect in his wife's disappearance.
"The information from Broward Sheriff's Office missing persons detectives is that Mr. Rosen has been cooperating with our detectives," said Jachles.
DiFiore is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 92 pounds. BSO said she drives a grey Lexus IS 250 (stock photo of car pictured below) with Florida tag BUBC97.
