Cat, kitten rescue facing eviction

60 felines at risk of being taken to animal control

MIAMI - Around 60 cats and kittens are at risk of being taken to animal control if the rescue where they've been housed doesn't find foster or forever homes for them with in the next two weeks.

All the cats are vetted and in good health, but the landlord where they are being kept needs the space back by the beginning of January.

"We have approximately 60 cats that need homes," Britt Camacho said in an e-mail to Local 10. "They are sweet and very well taken care of."
