'Business Bandit' believed to be behind 3 Palm Beach County bank robberies

FBI says serial bank robber should be considered armed and dangerous

BOCA RATON, Fla. ā€“ The FBI is trying to identify a "Business Bandit" responsible for three bank robberies in Palm Beach County this month.

FBI spokesman Jim Marshall said the serial bank robber earned his nickname because of the attire he wears during the robberies.

Marshall said the same man is believed to have robbed two banks in Boca Raton and a bank in Palm Beach Gardens.

The first robbery took place Nov. 7 at the SunTrust branch on Glades Road in Boca Raton.Ā 

Three days later, the same man is believed to have robbed a PNC Bank branch on Military Trail in Palm Beach Gardens.

The most recent robbery took place Friday at a Wells Fargo on Glades Road in Boca Raton.Ā Marshall said the robber displayed a handgun.

Marshall the robber should be considered armed and dangerous.
