GRASSY KEY, Fla. – A Florida Keys deputy stopped four individuals early Friday morning and found drugs and guns in the car, leading to their arrest, according to Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Thomas Lancaster, 20, Melissa Yeatman, 18, Dustin Pelletier, 23, and Marvin Hernandez, 20 were parked in a Toyota Camry with the lights on at Grassy Key Marina, sheriff’s spokeswoman Becky Herrin said.

Deputy Daniel Hill decided to see why the vehicle was stopped because of recent marine thefts.
As Hill turned toward the car, it drove away southbound on U.S. Highway 1.
Deputies Seth Hopp and Mario Bendetti arrived at the scene for back up.
The deputies smelled marijuana coming from the inside of the car. The passengers were asked to exit the car.
During a search of the car, marijuana, an e-cigarette with hash oil in it and a crow bar under the front seat were found inside, Herrin said.
Yeatman admitted to possessing all of the drugs, Herrin said. She faces charges of possession of hash oil, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Hernandez, the driver, had a stolen Glock 42 handgun, Herrin said. The gun was stolen from a Sugarloaf Key man’s vehicle June 21. Hernandez faces charges of carrying a concealed firearm, grand theft of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and driving with no license.
The deputies found a Taurus revolver tucked in Pelletier’s waistband. He faces charges of carrying a concealed firearm.
Lancaster, who was a passenger in the car, was the only individual found with a legal driver’s license. The car was registered to Lancaster. He was not arrested and allowed to leave.
