Sky 10 was above the Hampton Inn & Suites on Marks Way near Florida's Turnpike as police had guns drawn outside the hotel.

Miramar police spokeswoman Tania Rues said the suspects lured one of the victims down to their car, pulled out an assault rifle and threatened her.

Rues said the suspects chased the girl back into the hotel, where they tried to detain her, but the girl was able to escape and get back into her room.

The five suspects, one of whom is a juvenile, were seen heading up to the hotel room, where they brandished guns outside of the victims' door, attempting to enter the room, Rues said.

A boy who was inside the room called 911, and police quickly set up a perimeter.

Rues said a gun carried by Jabari Shelley, 19, was found in the bushes outside the hotel.

Rues said the juvenile, who was seen reaching into his waistband multiple times, was found with a BB gun, and an assault rifle that was brandished in the parking lot by Richard Williams, 19, was found inside the suspects' vehicle.

The others involved in the incident were identified by authorities as Nailah Grace, 18, and Hasani Shelley, 20. The juvenile has not been identified because of his age.

Rues said that all of the suspects face charges of kidnapping/false imprisonment and armed robbery.
