Accused Miami-Dade madam busted at massage parlor

Yaneth Ramos accused of maintaining house of prostitution

MIAMI – Miami-Dade police arrested Yaneth Ramos last month after an undercover investigation into a massage parlor business she operated.

Police believe Ramos is a madam who ran two massage parlors that offered sexual favors in exchange for money.

An arrest report said Ramos, 49, would sometimes collect money from the clients.

Ramos was arrested on charges that include maintaining a house of prostitution, soliciting another to commit prostitution and renting a space to be used for prostitution.

One of the locations police said Ramos operated is on Northwest 36th Street.

Although the parlor has been shut down, Leo Lopez, who owns a tattoo business next door, said clients who are unaware of the police investigation still come by the store.

"Basically, when they closed it down, the guys, they used to get confused and come to my shop," Lopez said.
