Bicyclist struck by vehicle found dead in median concealed by bushes

KENDALL, Fla. – A bicyclist who was struck by a car Saturday in Kendall was found dead in a median concealed by bushes, authorities said.

The crash was reported in the area of Kendall Drive and Southwest 140th Avenue.

Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Yosdany Veloz said the bicycle and body were both found in the median.

Evidence at the scene suggests that the victim was struck by a dark-colored vehicle, Veloz said.

The victim's identity has not been released.
