MIAMI – A thief was caught on camera Monday night breaking into a vehicle outside Santa's Enchanted Forest in Miami.
The victim, who did not want to be identified, told Local 10 News that he is a loss prevention officer at The Falls and installed the dashcam after someone previously broke into his car.
The man said he went to Santa's Enchanted Forest with his wife and child, and his wife left her purse under a seat.
The video shows the thief rummaging through the vehicle before leaving with the purse and a pocketknife.
The victim said the thief used two screwdrivers to break into the car.
