Florida Keys restaurant claims diners dashed after eating meal

Employees say family thought service was too slow

SUGARLOAF, Fla. – A restaurant in the Florida Keys outed a family over the weekend who employees said ate a meal at the restaurant and then left without paying their bill.

According to a Facebook post by Mangrove Mama's Restaurant, the family thought the service was too slow on Saturday.

Surveillance video from the restaurant at 19991 Overseas Highway in Sugarloaf Shores shows a woman and man with three children eating in the restaurant's outdoor section.

"The nerve of some people," the Facebook post read, in part. "Because you don't think things were done in your time frame, you shouldn't have to pay. My surgery took too long, so I'm not paying or my car took too long to fix it. REALLY!!!"

The restaurant is offering $100 to anyone who identifies the adults in the photo.
