Marijuana, cocaine found in Paul Fragga's van, deputies say

Paul Fraga faces drug possession and trafficking charges after his arrest in Key West.

KEY WEST, Fla. – A Key West man faces drug possession and trafficking charges after he was found Tuesday afternoon with a large amount of cocaine and marijuana in his van during a traffic stop, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

Paul Fraga, 61, was stopped by deputies on Atlantic Boulevard because of illegal window tinting on his van, sheriff's spokeswoman Becky Herrin said.

Deputies noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the van and discovered the drugs, including 32 grams of cocaine, Herrin said. They also searched Fraga's house, where they found about 250 grams of marijuana, Herrin said.

Fraga was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, trafficking in cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
