Miami-Dade police Detective Robin Pinkard said Felts raped two teens within days of each other.

According to an arrest affidavit, the first incident occurred Oct. 13 while a 16-year-old girl was walking to a bus stop near Northwest 109th Street and Northwest Eighth Avenue.

Police said Felts approached the girl and forced her behind a nearby dumpster at gunpoint. Felts stole the girl's cellphone and debit card and forced her to get undressed, the report said.

Once the girl was undressed, Felts raped her and then drove her to another location, where he left her, the report said.

The second incident occurred Monday while a 19-year-old woman was walking to a bus stop near Northwest 102nd Street and Northwest 29th Avenue.

According to another police report, Felts approached the woman from behind, pointed a gun at her, placed a hood over her head and forced her to hand over all her money. Police said Felts dragged her behind some bushes and raped her, but she was able to grab the gun from him, throw it at his head and run away.

Pinkard said investigators linked Felts to both attacks. He was being held without bond at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
