Man gets away with cash during bank robbery in Sunrise, FBI says

Robbery reported Sunday at Chase Bank branch

SUNRISE, Fla. – The FBI is searching for a man who they said was captured on surveillance video Monday robbing a bank in Sunrise.

The robbery was reported just after 6 p.m. at a Chase Bank branch at 3300 N. University Drive.

FBI spokesman Jim Marshall said a man, who was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and hat, entered the bank and demanded cash from a teller.

Marshall said customers were inside the bank at the time, but no injuries were reported.

An undisclosed of cash was taken during the robbery.
