NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A North Lauderdale man was arrested Wednesday after he held a box cutter to another man's throat after the two were involved in a fight, police said.
According to an arrest report, the victim threw the first punch at a bus stop at 1091 S. State Road 7 after the two began arguing.

Police said Aloysius Edwin, 42, struck the victim back multiple times, and another man came to his aid and attempted to stop the fight.
The victim told detectives that he began to hit the other man because he thought he was being jumped.
Police said the victim ran away and both men chased him, approaching him in the parking lot of a Home Depot.
Police said Edwin put a box cutter to the victim's throat and told him, "I can cut your throat now."
The victim suffered a small cut on the left side of his neck, police said.
The victim told police that he wanted to prosecute, but Edwin said he did not want to prosecute the man for throwing the first punch.
Edwin faces an aggravated battery charge.
