HIALEAH, Fla. – A 50-year-old man was shot in the abdomen Monday morning at his home in Hialeah, authorities said.
Hialeah police Sgt. Carl Zogby said officers responded to a shooting at 5015 Palm Ave. after a fight between two men who are known to each other.
Police said the 47-year-old gunman went to the victim's efficiency and a fight ensued.
The victim was shot once in the abdomen, Zogby said.
The victim was airlifted to a hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
No other details were immediately released.
