MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A man was shot in the back Wednesday night in northwest Miami-Dade County, police said.
The shooting took place near Northwest 18th Avenue and Northwest 68th Street.

The victim was alert and conscious when police arrived and was taken to an area hospital.
Police said the shooter fled on a bicycle.
