MARATHON, Fla. – A Marathon man was arrested Thursday, days after he kidnapped, beat and robbed a 17-year-old boy, authorities said.
Monroe County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Becky Herrin said a deputy was called to Ocotillo Lane, where the victim had been dropped off.

Herrin said the victim was taken to Fisherman's Hospital, but became uncooperative and hostile with hospital employees.
She said he later told a detective that he was scared that the suspect would kill him if he discussed details about the attack.
Herrin said the detective convinced the victim to speak to her about the incident, and he told her that he was walking near 65th Street in Marathon when Tommy Lancaster, 20, pulled up in a car with another man who the victim did not know.
He said Lancaster pointed a gun at him and told him to get in the car.
According to Herrin, Lancaster drove the victim to a remote area where he beat and threatened the teen until the teen lost consciousness.
The teen, who was robbed of his jewelry, wallet and cellphone, said he woke up on the ground at the end of Ocotillo Lane.
Lancaster was arrested Friday on a warrant near 63rd Street.
He faces charges of kidnapping, robbery, aggravated battery and grand theft.
