OPA-LOCKA, Fla. – Nigerian singer Dammy Krane, whose real name is Oyindamola Johnson-Hunga, was arrested earlier this month after he tried to book a charter flight with a fraudulent credit card at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport.
According to an arrest report obtained Monday by Local 10 News, Krane, 23, and his friend, Chukwuebuka Gabriel Ilochonwu, 26, tried to purchase two private charter flight tickets June 1 at the airport to travel from Miami to Washington, D.C.

Employees discovered that the credit cards were fraudulent and notified police, the report said.
Authorities said Krane was found with three credit cards that were in his name and four others that were in the name of William Payton III.
Police said Krane was also in possession of several cellphones and laptops, which were in his bags.
According to the arrest report, the cost of the tickets from Tap Jets was $10,943.01.
Authorities said Ilochonwu was out of jail on bond at the time of the incident for similar charges in Miami Beach.
Both men now face charges of grand theft, credit card forgery and fraudulently using another individual's identity.
