4 arrested after vandalizing police cars in Hollywood, police say

Damage to vehicles estimated at $6,800

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Four people were arrested Friday after they vandalized police vehicles in Hollywood, police said.

A concerned citizen called police at about 1 a.m. July 3 after spotting four people vandalizing police vehicles that were parked in front of the Hollywood Police Department substation in the 3000 block of North 69th Way.

The damage to the vehicles is estimated at about $6,800.

Police used surveillance camera footage along with social media to arrest Johnathan Berroa, Zachary Novak and two minors.
