Police seek information about hit-and-run reported in northeast Miami-Dade

Victim suffered life-threatening injuries

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police are seeking information about a driver who struck a pedestrian over the weekend in northeast Miami-Dade.

The hit-and-run crash was reported at 7:40 p.m. Sunday in the area of Northeast Second Avenue and 117th Street.

Police said the victim, identified as Beatrice Hilare Clou, 24, was crossing the street when she was struck by a blue 2016 or 2017 Chevrolet Camaro.

Police said Clou suffered life-threatening injuries.

The driver drove off north on 117th Street after the crash, authorities said.

Police believe the Camaro has heavy front-end damage and possibly windshield damage.
