Reward offered for info in casino robbery

Man robs employee at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek

COCONUT CREEK, Fla. - A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a man who robbed a Seminole Casino Coconut Creek employee at gunpoint.

The crime occurred about 12:30 a.m. Friday at the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek at 5550 NW 40th St.

Officials said the man went into the casino and robbed an employee at gunpoint.

The robber is a bout 6 feet 3 inches to 6 feet 4 inches tall and 250 pounds with a medium to dark complexion. He was wearing a camouflage jacket, a dark shirt and pants, sunglasses and a hat.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case. The Seminole Tribe Police Department and Seminole Gaming have added $4,000 to the reward money. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).

The FBI is offering a separate reward of $2,500.
