Broward Sheriff's Office deputies said the owner was inside his business when he heard a loud banging noise coming from the front door.

Deputies said the owner approached the door and realized that someone was trying to force it open.

He said he eventually went outside and saw a man getting into a Ford Explorer SUV.

Deputies said the thief damaged the door, but was unable to get inside.

Two security cameras outside the business captured the SUV as it pulled up in front of the business from the north side.

Deputies said a man got out of the passenger side of the SUV and pushed both security cameras upward, but not before they captured an image of him.

Detectives believe the same man previously targeted other businesses in the area.

Anyone with information about his identity is asked to call Detective German Bickbau at 954-926-2400 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
