Thieves caught on camera burglarizing 7-Eleven store in Wilton Manors

1 breaks into safe while accomplice acts as lookout, police say

WILTON MANORS, Fla. – Two thieves were captured on surveillance video earlier this month burglarizing a 7-Eleven store in Wilton Manors.

The burglary was reported at about 8:30 p.m. Aug. 3 at the 7-Eleven at 3095 N. Andrews Ave.

Wilton Manors police said while the store was open for business, one of the thieves walked through the store and into an "employees only" section.

Police said the man caused about $6,000 worth of damage to a locked safe. Authorities did not confirm what was taken from the safe.

Police said the second thief acted as a lookout while the culprit broke into the safe.

The thieves left in a possibly silver or white Nissan Juke.
