Police find 380 bags of heroin in a hospital room

Lori Sullenberg was accused of selling thousands in heroin from her hospital bed.

This accused drug dealer may be a "workaholic."

Lori Sullenberger, 38, was in a hospital bed when nurses went from thinking she was a popular patient to discovering that she was running an illegal business from the intense care unit.

Excela Westmoreland Hospital staff noticed Sullenberger had several cellphones that would ring at all hours and that her visitors only knew her by her first name, Local 10 News partner WTAE reports.

After police surveillance, and a confidential informant purchased 30 bags of heroin, police arrested Sullnenberger Tuesday. They also found 380 bags and $1,420 in cash in her room.

Sullenberger is facing felony counts of possession with intent to deliver and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance,  misdemeanor charges of possession  of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
