PLANTATION, Fla. - A woman wearing a hat pulled down low over her face robbed a Wells Fargo bank branch in Plantation Thursday morning, the FBI said.

The bank robbery was reported at 11:22 a.m. at the Wells Fargo bank branch at 1191 University Drive.

Surveillance images show the woman handing a teller a note demanding cash.

FBI spokesman Jim Marshall said no one was injured.

Authorities would not disclose whether any money was taken.

The robber looks similar to a thief who targeted a Wells Fargo bank branch in Miami Lakes Thursday afternoon, but the FBI has not yet linked the two bank robberies.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the FBI at 754-703-2000 or Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
