DAVIE, Fla. – Davie police are searching for the thieves who snatched a woman's purse from her outside a Walmart store.
The robbery was reported at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday at the Walmart at 4301 S. University Drive.
Police said the 30-year-old woman was walking to her car when a dark-colored minivan drove up on her right side.
Police said a rear passenger, who was seated behind the driver, reached out the window and grabbed the woman's purse.
The victim was dragged about 10 feet before the purse strap broke.
Detectives believe the robbers were possibly driving a Toyota Sienna.
