Women caught on camera using credit card stolen in southwest Miami-Dade

Card stolen from van outside Coopertown Airboat & Rides, police say

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police are searching for two women who they said were captured on surveillance video last month using a stolen credit card to make a purchase at a Walmart store.

Police said the credit card was stolen June 11 from a Ford van that was parked outside Coopertown Airboat & Rides at 22700 SW Eighth St.

Surveillance video shows two women the next day purchasing goods at a Walmart at 9191 W. Flagler St. with the victim's credit card, authorities said.

Police said the women also tried to purchase items from a Walgreens at 70700 W. Flagler St., but were unsuccessful.

Anyone with information about the women's identities is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
