CORAL GABLES, Fla. - Canes linebacker Denzel Perryman will be staying for his senior season.

Perryman checked his draft status with the NFL Advisory Board. He found out that he was projected as a third-round pick.

Perryman was a First-Team All-ACC selection.

He led Miami with 108 tackles.

Perryman started all 13 games at outside linebacker for the Canes.

Perryman said, "Before this season, we hadn't had a 9-win season in a long time.  For those of us in my class who had never been to a bowl game because of the sanctions, it was a great feeling and I want to be part of the next step forward."
