KEY LARGO, Fla. - A man who police said stole an SUV with a 3-year-old boy inside is also accused of committing crimes in the Florida Keys.

Pedro Valdes stands accused in Miami-Dade County of robbing two banks, one on the same day as the theft of a car with 3-year-old Daniel Rivero inside last week.

Police said Valdes dropped Daniel off at a TD Bank near another bank he is accused of robbing. The child was unharmed.

Now, Monroe County Sheriff's deputies want to talk with Valdes about crimes in their county.

They say the picture above shows Valdes ransacking a West Marine store in Key Largo on June 24th. Fishing reels were taken from a display case inside.

Detectives said Valdes committed three other similar burglaries in the Keys from June 5th through June 20th.
