Elections held in 6 Broward County municipalities, Key Colony Beach

Polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. ā€“ Voters in six Broward County municipalities and one Florida Keys community are casting ballots Tuesday.

Elections are being held in Coconut Creek, Deerfield Beach, Hillsboro Beach, Lighthouse Point, Miramar and Weston.

Voters in Deerfield Beach and Lighthouse Point will decide the next mayor.

There are also several commission races up for grabs in Coconut Creek, Deerfield Beach, Miramar and Weston.

Voters in Hillsboro Beach will be asked seven questions about the town charter.

There is also one commission seat to be decided in Key Colony Beach.

Precincts are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Those who are still in line at closing time will be allowed to cast their votes.

Voters must bring a valid Florida identification.
