MIAMI – Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews extinguished a boat fire Thursday afternoon near Dinner Key.
The boat caught fire about 4:15 p.m., about 200 yards off Dinner Key Channel.

Firefighters extinguished the flames and kept the boat from sinking by bailing out the water in it.
Once the fire was under control, the boat was towed.
No one on board was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
