Firefighters battle smoke, flames at vacant house in Fort Lauderdale

Cause of fire under investigation

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Firefighters were battling a house fire Friday morning in Fort Lauderdale.

The fire started at 2862 NW 20th St.

A Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue spokesman said the house was vacant and boarded up.

Sky 10 was above the burning house as large flames and thick smoke were shooting from the home.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
