Florida Keys corrections deputy arrested on suspicion of DUI

Steven Jaroszewski, 25, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

KEY WEST, Fla. – A Monroe County Sheriff's Office corrections deputy was arrested early Monday in Key West on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Steven Jaroszewski, 25, was stopped on Duval Street about 3:30 a.m., sheriff's spokeswoman Becky Herrin said.

Police said Jaroszewski failed a field sobriety test and was arrested on a misdemeanor DUI charge.

Jaroszewski has worked as a corrections deputy for the Monroe County Sheriff's Office since August 2015. Herrin said his employment status is under review.
