Disney sells Fort Wilderness cabins, with all the fixins’

ORLANDO, Fla. – If you’ve ever been a guest at The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort and hoped to take a piece of the magic home, now is your chance to make a cabin your home, all you have to do is drive to Central Florida to check them out and purchase one.

The older cabins have been sold by the Walt Disney World Resort to make way for a new Disney Vacation Club Resort location at the Fort Wilderness property.

According to an ad on Facebook Marketplace, a “Tiny House Resort Cabin” can be yours for just under $50,000.

The ad states the cabins will be sold fully furnished with functional, A/C, appliances, furniture, etc. included.

The units were built between. 1998-2001. They are about 500sqft 12′x42′ -1 Bed/1 Bath (Sleeps 6).

According to the Disney Parks Blog, an Orlando business is helping with construction of more than 350 new cabins for Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and the Disney Vacation Club Member program.

The new cabins will be opening up in phases beginning July 1. Guests can start making reservations at the Fort at the end of Sept.
