Syd Meyer and Chris Gleadall said they paid .99 cents for it on Sunday at the Publix at 1000 Overseas Highway in Marathon.

“They were on sale,” Gleadall said. “To be honest, I don’t really check my produce.”

Meyer said it was meant for their turkey avocado bowls, which they eat for dinner.

“I pull out the avocado, ready to prepare it, and I’m kind of looking at it like, ‘This stem looks really weird.’ I look closer, and there’s actually a little bullet engraving in the back of the round. It was a 22,” Gleadall said.

They decided to record a video that they shared on Instagram. Users got creative: “Holy Glock a mole!” “Ammo-cado!” and “Bullet cado!”
