MIAMI – Screeners for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) stopped three loaded guns from making it onto flights from South Florida in the last two weeks.

The TSA said screeners first seized a loaded .380 automatic pistol at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Airport on May 3rd. Then last Thursday, screeners stopped the .40 mm pistol that you see in the above picture .

Also last Thursday, Screeners at Miami International Airport seized a loaded 38 special.

In total, the TSA found a record 50 guns in carry-on baggage across the country in the last week. Of those 50 guns, 45 were loaded and 15 had rounds chambered.
