GRASSY KEY, Fla. – Detectives are trying to solve a mystery after a man's body was found floating in the water off the Florida Keys.
Monroe County Sheriff's deputies said passing boaters spotted the man's body in about two feet of water off Grassy Key on Tuesday morning.

Detectives were able to identify the 49-year-old man thanks to information found in a wallet in his pocket.
They will not reveal his identity until they notify next of kin.
Detectives said the body did not appear to have been in the water very long, and a preliminary examination revealed no obvious signs of foul play.
