FORT MYERS, Fla. - A man, who police say was wanted for the murder of a woman in Boynton Beach, has been arrested in Fort Myers.

Boynton Beach Police said Hermane Thomany, 26,  was arrested during a traffic stop on Friday morning.

Detectives say Thomas shot Anisha Williams, 30, in her Boynton Beach home.

When officers responded to the home on July 31, they said they found Williams on the floor inside the house. She was unconscious and bleeding from gunshot wounds to her upper body.

She was transported to Delray Medical Center where she died.

Thomany is currently being held in the Lee County Jail.
