Caller threatens to shoot up Hialeah High School

Police say no credible threat found

HIALEAH, Fla. – Hialeah High School was placed on lockdown Monday after someone threatened to shoot up the school.

Police said an anonymous phone call was made from a person who threatened to shoot up the school, but no credible threat was found.

Miami-Dade County Public Schools spokesman John Schuster said the school was placed on lockdown while officers searched the campus.

No other information was immediately available.
