Man killed in first shooting in El Portal in 5 years

EL PORTAL, Fla. - Police in El Portal are investigating the first shooting in the city in at least five years.

About 4:55 p.m. Monday, officers responded to NE 90th St. and 2nd Ave. after a car drove up to a home and someone fired dozens of shots, killing Kori Clark, said Miami-Dade Police.

Clark, 27, was being transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he died.

Police have not yet released a description of the shooter.
