MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - Every queen needs a palace, and South Florida drag queens now have one at the new Palace in South Beach.

The famous spot reopened at 1052 Ocean Drive in Miami Beach taking over the former Amarillo South Beach Bar and Grill.

Thomas Donall was forced to close the former Palace at 1200 Ocean Drive after the building across from Lummus Park was sold to Infinity Real Estate.

After 29 years at that location, the bar closed on the Fourth of July and set up a temporary home at the Clevelander South Beach Hotel about a month later.

The colorful bar is ready for Art Basel Miami Beach's LGBTQ-friendly crowd.

Missy Meyake LePaige performs on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday during brunch. Mhyia Iman LePaige performs on Thursday, Friday, Saturday during brunch and Sunday during tea dance.

Tiffany Fantasia performs on Thursday and Saturday during brunch and tea dance. Sasha Lords and Ebonee Excell perform on Saturday and Sunday during tea dance. TP Lords performs on Friday and Sunday during tea dance.

Poizon Ivy and Kalah Mendoza perform on Saturday during brunch, and Jasmin Lords and Malayah Damore perform on Saturday during tea dance.

Marci Mogul, Tiara Love Dupree and Joanna James perform on Sunday during brunch, and Olga Dantelly, Zaira Huston and Jahsayra Pryce perform on Monday.
