Law enforcement hosts 'Gun Buy Back' in North Miami

Officers exchange guns for gift cards -- 'No Questions Asked'

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. - Law enforcement in Miami-Dade County was asking the community to drop off their guns in North Miami on Saturday. 

As part of the 'Safer Communities Gun Buy Back' program, a temporary drop off station was set up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 15045 Biscayne Blvd.

Police officers were handing out gift cards for local retailers of up to $200.  They were also giving away gun locks for safe gun storage. For more information, call 305-940-9980.
