MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – A 66-year-old man was struck and killed while trying to cross a busy Miami Gardens intersection, police said.
The man was attempting to cross at Northwest 183rd Street and Northwest Second Avenue before sunrise Friday morning when he was struck by a vehicle.

Police said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
