6 injured in West Little River crash, firefighters say

Speed to blame? 'Of course,' witness says

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Six people were injured in a crash Thursday night in West Little River.

A white Mercedes-Benz and a dark Mazda SUV collided at Northwest 22nd Avenue and Northwest 90th Street. 

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said three people were trapped in one of the vehicles.

Dorothy Howard, who witnessed the collision, said speed was a factor.

"Of course," she said. "Look at it."

All six people were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.
