MIAMI - When the Miami Heat take on the Washington Wizards Sunday night at home, they'll have one less player on their roster.

The team announced Saturday that they have waived guard Terrel Harris.

Harris appeared in seven games with the Heat this season, averaging 1.4 points and 1.3 rebounds in 4.1 minutes per game. Last season, he appeared in 22 games, with one start, and averaged 3.6 points and 2.3 rebounds in 14.5 minutes per game.

He originally signed with Miami as a free agent on Dec. 10, 2011 and was re-signed by the Heat on Sept. 10, 2012.

The Heat's roster now stands at 14.

Sunday's night game starts at 6 p.m. at the American Airlines Arena.
