Cause of fire to 'Calypso Gypsy' under investigation

KEY LARGO, Fla. – An 80-foot sailboat caught fire Thursday morning in the Florida Keys.

The boat caught fire early Thursday while it was docked in Key Largo.

Monroe County spokeswoman Cammy Clark said the boat, which is named "Calypso Gypsy," was fully engulfed when firefighters extinguished the flames.

Nobody was injured in the fire, but the boat was destroyed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
