Police: Pastor swiped church donations totaling $2,690

Jules Derosier charged with grand theft

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – A pastor turned himself in to the police on charges that he stole $2,690 in donation checks from the New Life Assembly of God.

In April, church representatives realized that several donation checks were missing from their records.

Investigators said 56-year-old Jules Derosier took the checks and deposited them into his personal bank account.

He was charged with grand theft on Monday. Derosier refused to answer questions about the investigation, according to an arrest affidavit.
