Registration ends Monday for Broward and Palm Beach elections

Voting registration ends Monday for local elections in Broward and Palm Beach counties on March 12, the Sun Sentinel reports.

Cities that are holding municipal elections are Fort Lauderdale, Coconut Creek, Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, Miramar, Oakland Park, Parkland, Plantation, Sunrise, Boynton Beach and Delray Beach.

Residents can register at public libraries or DMV locations. Another option is downloading a registration form online and mailing or dropping it off at a supervisor of elections office.

Absentee ballots will be accepted at the main office by 7 p.m. on Monday, or by 5 p.m. at any satellite office. An absentee ballot postmarked March 12 will not be accepted. Residents can get their absentee ballots up to five days prior to the day of the election or they can be picked up on March 12.

Voting polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday. Early voting is not being offered for this election.
