Thieves pull off $3 million heist in Boynton Beach

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. – Police are investigating a multi-million dollar heist in South Florida.

Boynton Beach Police said officers responded to an alarm call about 11 a.m. Sunday and found an open sliding glass door in the back of a home.

The house was searched, but no burglars were found.

During the investigation, police found that $3 million worth of jewelry and watches were stolen from the home.

They checked the home surveillance video and saw two men rifling through drawers before leaving the home at about 9 a.m.

It appeared the getaway car was a silver Infiniti M35.
