Riders rescued from Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Orlando

Video shows worker on platform next to car on track

ORLANDO, Fla. – Riders are being rescued Wednesday morning from the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster at Universal Orlando.

Video from the WKMG news helicopter shows six riders on a car that is stopped before a loop on the track. A worker on a raised platform can be seen next to the car.

Orlando fire officials said 12 guests were stranded on two separate cars.

Details about the incident have not been released.
